Climax-Shelly School District #592 and Fisher School District #600 are seeking applicants for
the Climax-Fisher Knights Athletic Director position. This position serves both districts and
provides leadership and oversight for the cooperative Climax-Fisher athletic program. The
Athletic Director will also work collaboratively with partner schools involved in cooperative athletic agreements.
 

Responsibilities include:
● Provide administrative guidance and oversight for athletic programming
● Coordinate game, event, and practice schedules with coaches
● Arrange officials and establish conference and league schedules
● Coordinate team travel with coaches, schools, and transportation staff
● Recruit, supervise, and support coaching staff
● Maintain safe and orderly athletic facilities and equipment
● Ensure compliance with district policies and Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) rules
● Work with administrators to monitor student-athlete eligibility
● Develop and manage the athletic department budget
● Coordinate responsibilities related to cooperative athletic agreements with Sacred Heart, Riverside Christian, and Crookston Schools
 

Qualifications:
● Experience in athletics, coaching, education, or athletic administration preferred
● Knowledge of MSHSL rules and regulations preferred
● Strong organizational and communication skills
